Installation

Our friendly team prides itself on a quick, efficient and tidy installation.  Depending on the type of heat pump being installed, this can take from half a day, to up to 2-3 days.  With new builds there is usually one visit to do the pipe work in the walls, and then another visit to install the heat pump once gibbing is completed etc.

Maintenance / Servicing – We recommend that you clean your heat pump filters at least every three months.  We are happy to show you how to do this or our Service Team can come to your house and do this for you. Please contact us for pricing.

We also recommend a yearly heat pump maintenance check.  It is important to maintain your heat pump properly to achieve optimum energy efficiency and that you meet the conditions of the warranty.  Maintaining your heat pump regularly may also extend the life of your heat pump. This includes the following:

Indoor Heat pump units:

  • Check maximum air temp output on heat
  • Check maximum air temp output on cooling
  • Clean and sanitise filters
  • Sanitise indoor coil (eliminates potential bacteria and microbes)
  • Check condensate drain and flush
  • Check condensate pump if applicable
  • Clean case
  • Check electrical connections
  • Check indoor fan bearings
  • Check indoor PCB condition.

Repairs
We offer repair advice on all major brands of heat pumps.

Lets get started

  • First we will visit your property and prepare a free quote specific to your requirements.
  • Upon acceptance of the quotation, we will order the heat pump and advise when it arrives to our store so we can make an appointment time for installation.
  • Installation – it is helpful if you can be there on the day of installation to discuss the final details with your installer.  You will be shown how to operate your heat pump on completion of the work.  An electrical compliance certificate will be issued (if using our electricians).
  • Approximately one week later, an invoice will be issued.  This gives you time to make sure you are happy with your heat pump, and our service.
